Looking for a Harold Fisher who composed a poem titled "THIS IS WAR" in Italy, 1945. I have a signed copy of this poem with a note on it 'copyright applied for'. This I found in the attic of a house I purchased.

Ran across your site while trying to find out information about a "Royal Airport" dedication cover(envelope postmarked on June 14, 1930). Do you happen to know if the facility is still operating or when it closed? Any info would be helpful in writing up a short note on the envelope for my stamp collection. Thanks

Le Roy you once gave me a tour of your father's excellent mueseum. At the end of the tour I left you a card that had my name and phone number with the offer that if you ever needed help with the mueseum that you could drop a line, that offer still stands. Sometime I'll have to bring my grandmother who told me about the gallery. By the way how are my Grandmother's rugs doing.

I can only pray that when I leave this world, people will think as much of me as you obviously do about your father. What a wonderful tribute to a full life!!! You are a lucky man to have such a father, and he was a lucky man to have a son like you.

Le Roy, Thank you so much for the tour for Betty, Sandy and myself. Much appreciated. It is a marvelous thing your father accomplished for people like us to explore and reverently admire aviation and military history. The sharing of the displays like that is special. His patriotism and willingness to work hard at his chosen interest speaks to all of us. Thanks again and I will certainly get word of the "Gallery of Aviation" to the two Marine Corps friends from Portage. Gary

Thank you for sharing a portion of Steve's lifetime collection. It is a remarkable assembly of items that bring back many memories for both the curators and visitors. This gallery is a must visit for anyone with aviation interests.

I was at the annual banquet a few years ago when your father presented a slide show of a small part of the museum's collection. Unfortunately I was never able to make it with the chapter when they were invited to hold a meeting at the museum. This occurred at least twice in the 14 years I have been a member of Chapter 93. I would enjoy getting a tour sometime perhaps with my partn
