About the Gallery of Aviation Website

I, Le Roy Stuczynski (right) and my son Jason Stuczynski are the Webmasters of this site. I live in Madison, WI and Jason lives in Allen, TX. Thanks to the internet both of us can update the site.

I am retired from the State of Wisconsin as a Purchasing Manager and Jason is the Manager of Strategic Projects for WatchGuard Video in Plano, TX which manufactures and sells high tech police video camera equipment. Jason has his pilots license and really enjoys aviation. In fact, his goal as a young boy was to attend the Air Force Academy but unfortunately our family was blessed with less than perfect eyesight. Hence his choice to pursue other avenues in aviation.

I have always been interested in aviation and followed Dad around to numerous airshows throughout the United States. The EAA event in Oshkosh, WI has always been our favorite and I attend each year for the full week. It's only 80 miles from Madison so I am very fortunate in that respect. For the last several years I have been volunteering at Warbirds as a Tram Driver and a Pilot Greeter. Since Jason's move from Wisconsin, he hasn't been able to make the Oshkosh EAA event very often. Hopefully Jason's busy schedule will eventually settle down so he can again join me and his many aviation friends he has known since his youth at the Oshkosh event.

I build and fly Radio Control model airplanes, as does Jason. I also belong to numerous model airplane clubs and currently am Treasurer and Editor of the "Screamin" Eagles" giant scale model airplane club. Each month I produce a newsletter called "Eagle Screams". In the Articles section of this site I post the newsletters each month. The archives go back to the year 2000 and include several articles done by Steve as Research Editor until his death on September 26, 2000.

Through this site, we hope to provide you with information about Steve's "Gallery" and share it's history which was assembled by one of the most amazing men I have ever known. I am proud to have been able to call him dad. We hope you enjoy this site!
